Dr. Casimer DeCusatis ๐ holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical, Computer, & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. magna cum laude in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University. ๐ผ He serves as the Associate Professor and Director of Cybersecurity Education at Marist College, with a distinguished career including roles as CTO, Systems Networking Strategic Alliances at IBM Corporation, Adjunct Associate Professor at New York City College of Technology, CUNY, and Adjunct Professor at State University of New York, New Paltz. ๐ง Dr. DeCusatis boasts over 200 Refereed Technical Publications and 7 Books, and holds the esteemed title of IBM Master Inventor with 250 Issued Patents. He is the Founder and Director of Hudson Valley FIRST Lego League, showcasing his commitment to STEM education. ๐ His contributions have earned him Fellowships with IEEE, Optika, and SPIE, along with prestigious awards such as the IEEE Region 1 Award for Outstanding Contributions to Cybersecurity Education and the IEEE Kiyo Tomiyasu Award. Recipient of the Sigma Xi Walston Chubb Award for Innovation, Dr. DeCusatis is also recognized as a National Academy of Engineering / NSF – Frontiers of Engineering selected engineer.
